London, Oct 24 (IANS) Hollywood filmmaker Steven Soderbergh is reportedly gearing up for a 3-D live-action rock 'n' roll musical on Egyptian queen Cleopatra.

Soderberg is looking at actress Catherine Zeta-Jones to star as the queen with Hugh Jackman as her lover Marc Antony, reports Hollywood.com.

The $30 million film will be set in the 1920s with music from Indie rock band 'Guided by Voices'.

The earlier 'Cleopatra' film was made by Joseph Mankiewicz in 1963 and starred Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in the lead.

Considered a dud, it had a huge budget and it won four Oscars.
