Fine unbeaten knocks by Ashish Yadav (78) Anshit Batra (75) aided by some fine bowling by off spinner Chander Thapa (3/22) helped Ravindra Public School Pitampura beat CWC by 6 wickets to enter the quarterfinals of the 31st All India Jawaharlal Nehru memorial cricket tournament for Raj Kumar Kohli running trophy played at the Nehru Youth Center ground here.

Ashish Yadav was named Puma man of the match for his brilliant unbeaten 78.

Brief Scores: CWC: 222 for 6 in 35 Overs: (Arun Sethi 78 n.o., Amrish Gautam 40, Praduman Singh not out 30, Nikhil Pandey 3 for 33, Chander Thapa 3 for 22.)

Ravindra Public School: 223 for 4 in 30.4 Overs: (Ashish Yadav 78n.o., Anshit Batra 75 n.o., Hemant Singh 35, Praduman Singh 3 for 35.)

In another match, deadly bowling by Shobhit Chauhan (5/23) getting well support by Naman Sharma (66) and Kamal Nigam (63) enabled Abhay Ram Gymkhana Club to beat West Delhi Cricket Academy by five wickets to move into the Nehru Cricket quarterfinals.

WDCA: 210 in 34.5 overs (Anuj Jain 77, Parul Sharma 44, Shobhit Chauhan five for 33)

ARG Club: 214 for five in 31.4 overs (Kamal Nigam 63, Naman Sharma 66, Mohd. Khalid 40).
