Sri Lankan mission in Chennai stoned

Chennai, Oct 23 (IANS) A group of students pelted stones on the Sri Lankan Deputy High Commission's office here, breaking glass panes of some windows, police said.
Heavy reinforcements were rushed to the mission, which is situated about a kilometre away from the residences of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and Leader of Opposition J. Jayalalitha, police officials added.
Nobody was hurt in the stone-pelting, they said.
