Nonetheless, the film Krazzy4 released today after much hue and cry and Rs 2 crore settlement has left the song intact in its original form.
The film is set to be a crazy format of four crazy people of different walks of life; they are psychiatric patients who ran away from an asylum. The four character played by One Raja (Arshad Warshi) who gets angry even of slight provocation, Gangadhar (Rajpal Yadav), a schizophrenic patient who dwells in past around Gandhi and Nehru’s era and wants to write a book on Independence of India; Dr Mukherjee (Irfan Khan) a physician who is obsessed with cleanliness while Daboo (Suresh Menon) a frightened boy hence has a protective cocoon around him all the time.
The film directed by another debutante Jaideep Sen is an attempt to picturise the satire with a message that will leave smile on viewer’s lip and a note with a message on their mind.
The film is promised to be different from the trendy double meaning comedy films. And sure a pure contest of acting capabilities in this comedy flick for the awesome four.
The Controversy
Indian music industry has been always accused of one or other thing; while the music industry called it as inspiration the world termed it as plagiarism.
Two days back another incident of plagiarism came to light in which Bombay High Court found Rakesh Roshan and Rajesh Roshan guilty of copying the music of title song of the movie.
But the court allowed both the party concerned to reach for an out of court settlement. Music composer Ram Sampath accused Roshans to have flicked his composition’s four tracks in Krazzy4 from The Thump, a commercial for Sony Ericsson.
It too was in news for depiction of Schezophrenic patient in wrong light. The Torchbearers (an Advocacy for Disabling Brain Illness) spokesperson Rukmini Pillai, alleged that the film will further give wrong notion about the disease and deter those who want to seek medical help for the same.
“The promos of ‘Krazzy 4” that is being released on April 11 tend to encourage blind beliefs in misrepresenting people with schizophrenia by creating barriers in seeking psychiatric treatment and living with dignity,” she added.
Though out of the danger zone the film has been put for the trial by public.
