UPA regime a golden period for terrorists: BJP

Bhopal, Oct 22 (IANS) Political parties supporting terrorism have become 'a part of the conspiracy to divide the nation', said Bharatiya Janata Party vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, adding the United Progressive Alliance regime would be known as 'a golden period for terrorists'.

Naqvi alleged that the Congress party and its likes were providing protection to terrorists and the activists of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) to show the Muslim community that the party was their well-wisher.

Such acts have become a great threat to the nation and created a feeling of insecurity in the minds of ordinary Muslims, Naqvi told reporters.

'Such parties and politicians indulging in supporting terrorism and terrorists have become a part of the conspiracy to divide the nation once again on the basis of religion to meet their political vested interests,' he said.

'UPA regime would be known as a golden period for terrorists during which people were dying either due to the bullets of the terrorists or price rise'.
