Parsvnath to develop five-star hotel in Ahmedabad
New Delhi, Oct 22 (IANS) Parsvnath Hotels, a subsidiary of real estate major Parsvnath Developers Ltd, will build a five-star hotel in Ahmedabad, the company announced Wednesday.
The project has received five-star category approval from the ministry of tourism and is expected to be operational by 2010.
Currently, the company is building two retail projects in the city - Parsvnath City Centre and Parsvnath Mall.
With an offering of 152 rooms and suites, this hotel will be blend of hotel and commercial segment, offering 24 hours coffee shop, multi-cuisine and specialty restaurants, conference rooms, business centre and a few boutique stores.
'There is demand of quality hotel rooms in Ahmedabad. Our project in Ahmedabad tries to fill this gap by providing all amenities under one roof,' Parsvnath Hotels vice-president Deepak Mowar said.
'Moreover, considering the investor-friendly environment of Gujarat, leading companies have been showing their interests in establishing their manufacturing units there. This will further enhance the demand for our project,' Mowar added.
