CWC storms into Nehru cricket quarters
Fine unbeaten knocks by Vikramjeet Singh (99), who was unlucky to miss out a credible century, and Karan Negi (82) powered CWC to beat Friends club by nine wickets and stormed into the quarter-final of the 31st All India Jawahar Lal Nehru memorial cricket tournament played at the Nehru Youth center ground.
Vikramjeet was named Puma man of the match for his scintillating batting display.

RBI posts big win in DSA institutional league
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) continued their good run in the tournament so far as they drubbed Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) 7-0 in a one-sided group ‘A’ match of the senior division DSA inter-institutional league for the Chief Minister’s Cup played at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Saturday.
RBI’s Rajiv started the goal glut as he slotted in three goals for the winners while Rajesh Kanojia came up with a fine brace to add more misery in ESIC camp. Shailendra Rawat and Rajesh scored a goal each to finish off the proceedings.
In another group ‘A’ match, Spirited Railway Board team put up a commendable show as they rallied form two goal deficit to play out a fascinating 2-2 draw. Arun Karketta and Amit Rajoria put AIIMS ahead before Rajesh Kumar scored a fine brace for Railway Board to level the terms.
In another match of the same group, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and Bank of India split points playing out a dull goalless draw.
