Romeo conman fleeced 3 women out of 60,000 pounds before being jailed
London, Oct 21 (ANI): Romeo conman Andrew Penfold, 31, was sentenced to four-years in jail after he was found to have conned three women into getting engaged with him at once, and to have fleeced them out of 60,000 pounds.
Penfold, who lived in a caravan near Dorchester, had told the ladies that he was an MI5 agent, a wealthy banker, a member of a wine dynasty and even a Lord.

The conman is said to have juggled his victims, who were in their 20s and early 30s, by spending a couple of days with each before moving to the next.
One of the women, who fell for his ploy, was a prison worker, as told to Dorchester Crown Court.
Penfold even went to the extent of giving them cheap engagement rings, which he claimed to be worth thousands before fleecing them for as much as he could.
Besides the women, he had also cheated other people and firms out of 40,000 pounds, and he admitted to having committed fraud after he was confronted.
Judge Roger Jarvis let the crook, who had previous convictions for deception, know just what he is.
"You are a cruel, unscrupulous fraudster," the Sun quoted him as saying. (ANI)
