Patna, Oct 20 (IANS) Congress general secretary and Rahul Gandhi will launch a membership drive in Bihar next month to strengthen the party in the state ahead of the parliamentary elections early next year.
'It would send a strong message that the Congress was gearing up to face the challenge,' Bihar Congress president Anil Sharma said.
'The Congress party is on the move in the state. It is set to revive,' he added.
Sharma said Gandhi's visit would help the Congress in effecting an image makeover, particularly among the youth.
