Man crushed under wheels of Blueline bus
New Delhi, Oct 20 (IANS) A 28-year-old man was crushed to death when he came under the wheels of a Blueline bus in Delhi Monday, the police said.
Nadeem Khan came under the rear wheels of a Blueline bus, operating on route number 405 between Badarpur and old Delhi, while he was getting down from the bus around 2.40 p.m. near Golcha Cinema, the police said.
Khan, a resident of Daryaganj, died on the spot, the police added.
"We have impounded the bus and a search is on to nab the driver. The family of the victim has been informed," said a police officer.
The victim is survived by a wife and two children.
More than 70 people have been killed this year under the wheels of Blueline buses.
Last year, at least 120 people were run over by Blueline buses.
