Kathmandu, Oct 20 (ANI): While the debate on integration of Maoist combatants continues, Minister for Commerce and Supplies Rajendra Mahato has said that politically indoctrinated combatants should not be integrated into the Nepal Army (NA).
Speaking at a press meet here on Sunday, Mahato said that the integration of Maoist combatants into the Nepal Army will seriously affect the country.
He said that he would quit the government and parliament if the constitution is not drafted for the welfare of the Madhesi people.
He also said he would lead the third Madhes movement if the government doesn't implement the agreement inked earlier with the Madhesi parties at the earliest.
Mahato further criticised the Nepali Congress for not joining the current coalition government.
He also urged various armed groups of Tarai to sit for talks with the government immediately, Kantipur reported. (ANI)
