India’s largest private broadband and telephone service provider Airtel Telemedia Services on March 29 has officially announced to launch its free accessing service through a new web portal airtellive.com for Airtel users. For this Airtel has collaborated with world’s one of the largest Internet giant Google Inc.

Announcing about the service, Airtel official has claimed to become the first Indian telemedia company, which has provided the free service of accessing Google product and services on its portal Airtellive.com.

“Airtellive.com is a milestone in Airtel’s broadband strategy,” said Atul Bindal, the President of Airtel Telemedia Services on the occasion of its inauguration. “It (Airtel) builds upon the current broadband ecosystem infrastructure to establish an Internet destination for web applications.” he added.

The Airtel users on its newly launched web portal can receive Google Apps and alliance suite covering ‘Gmail’, the mailing service of Google, ‘Google Docs’ for online managing and its presentation service of documents and spreadsheets, Google Calendar shared calendaring, and the Start Page feature for creating a customizable home page.
