Rajkot, Oct 18 (IANS) Skipper Cheteshwara Pujara hit his second consecutive triple century to help Saurashtra score a mammoth 754 for four against Mumbai on the second day of the West Zone C.K. Nayudu Trophy here Saturday.
At the close, Mumbai were 48 without loss in 13 overs and will have to put on a big fight to avoid the follow-on.
Pujara, who hit 386 runs against Maharashtra last week here, scored a facile 309 and was involved in two big partnerships. Along with Chirag Pathak (199) he added 342 runs for the second wicket and then stitched 241 run for the third wicket with Ravindra Jadeja (155 not out).
