Tyson, is the next bad man in Bollywood
June 06: Reportedly the former heavyweight champion and boxing genius, Mike Tyson, is going to act in a Bollywood movie. Tyson has been hired and will feature for his original job of a boxer. Few days back he also appeared in a dance number which has had good response from the audience.
In the newly released film Fool and Final, Mike featured in a promotional music video but later the producer decided to incorporate the number in the film after a good response from audience. Keeping in mind Tyson’s popularity, producer Firoz Nadiadwala is planning to produce a movie with a role for Tyson.
The movie titled License to Kill is supposed to be an action thriller in which the boxer is going to play his part as a boxer.
Though Nadiadwala planned to make the film later but after receiving good response from that cameo in Fool and Final, he is desperate to start the project soon. This was revealed by different sources belonging to the film industry.
According to the daily Mumbai Mirror, Tyson has offered a huge price for the role and three other well-known Bollywood actors will be part of the movie. The names however have not been finalized and will be declared soon.
Born in 1966, Tyson came to the lime light as one of the greatest athlete. He was just 20 years and 4 months when he became the youngest world heavyweight champion, representing the USA. Involving a series of crime and controversy, the undisputed champion lost his last two matches with Lennox Lewis grabbing the title in 2002. In 2005 he announced his retirement from international boxing. Soon after, he appeared in various exhibition matches to pay back his numerous debts.
Keeping in mind his world wide popularity, Bollywood film makers are sure that Tyson will be a big catch and profitable too.
