Sydney, Oct 9 (ANI): Reacting to retired Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne?s wish to make a comeback if he gets a call, Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland has reportedly said that the 39-year-old second highest Test wicket taker should not be expecting a call now.
Sutherland laughed off the notion, saying: ?Shane is happily retired as far as I understand. I see him regularly and I know he has enough on his plate without thinking about Test cricket ? that's the end of the story really. He has certainly given people something to write about ? but he's good at that.?
He said this while reacting to Warne?s wish saying -- ?If the call comes I will consider it?, reported The Age.
Warne may have been hard pressed to make a significant contribution to the Australians' cause anyway. In 14 Tests against the Indians Warne took 43 wickets at an average of 47.19, well down on his overall figures. (ANI)
