Pak cricket manager says maintaining discipline 'top priority' for England series in UAE

Lahore, Sat, 07 Jan 2012 ANI

Lahore, Jan 7(ANI): Pakistan cricket team manager Naveed Akram Cheema has said that maintaining discipline will be his key priority during the forthcoming series against England in the United Arab Emirates.

"Strict instructions have been given to the players to follow the laid down rules and regulations and code of conduct during the tour and no incident of indiscipline will be tolerated," The Daily Times quoted Cheema, as saying.

He pointed out that the Pakistani cricketers had showed tight discipline during the series against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, which led to the team's two consecutive victories.

"Now we are embarking upon a new venture which is tough as the English side are among the top cricket teams in the world and they will be throwing a tough challenge," he added. (ANI)
