Imran Khan says his party not to allow corrupt people to contest Pak elections

Lahore, Jan 3(ANI): Pakistan Tehrik- e -Insaaf Chariperson Imran Khan has said his party is probing the assets of all its members to ensure that corrupt people do not contest Pakistan's elections.

 

He said the PTI would prepare plans aimed at eradicating corruption that will benefit the general public and added that bringing the looted money back from the corrupt politicians would his priority.

 

Imran said he foresees Pakistan as a welfare state, where poor people get justice and have access to health and education.

 

He welcomed each individual, who follows the PTI agenda, to join the party, The Nation reports.

 

Khan said his party would not support the US' war on terror efforts because it has caused problems in Pakistan but stressed that it would promote good relations with all countries, including the US.

 

He said the PTI would devise Pakistan's independent foreign policy with a focus on countries like China, Iran and Afghanistan. (ANI)
