Jammu, Dec 21 (ANI): Supporters of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and other small political outfits staged a protest here on Wednesday against the insufficient rule of the Omar Abdullah-led National Conference Government in Jammu and Kashmir.
Hundreds of protestors from the PDP took to the streets as part of this rally and raised slogans against the government.
"The PDP is protesting at all Tehsil (Block) headquarters against the failure of the coalition government to solve people's problems. The problem of public including unemployment, corruption, electricity, water and food; this government has utterly failed on all these fronts," said Rangil Singh, one of the protestors.
Scores of activists including woman and children carried placards and raised anti-government slogans during the rally that meandered through the streets of Jammu.
A minor scuffle later took place between the protestors and the police personnel during the agitation.
It may be recalled here that the Omar Abdullah Government was recently in the eye of a storm over the custodial death of National Conference (NC) worker Syed Muhammad Yusuf Shah. (ANI)
