Bhopal, Oct 6 (IANS) The Delhi Public School in Indore received an email, threatening to blow up the school building, the police said Monday. However, on searching the school, nothing suspicious was found and the police say that the threat was a hoax.
The management of the school saw an e-mail Monday which had been sent Oct 4 threatening to blow up the school between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Oct 6.
On being informed of the threat, the police evacuated the premises and conducted a thorough search but nothing suspicious was found.
'The mail was sent in the name of Indian Mujahideen on Oct 4 but the School Principal saw it today (Monday) morning when the school started as usual. However, it later turned out to be a hoax', Mahesh Jain, additional police superintendent of Indore told IANS.
This is the second such incident after the Sep 13 Delhi blasts. Earlier, a threat to blow up a Gujarati College in the city was received by the college authorities, the police official said.
