Pak Prez, PM resolve to crush terrorism
Islamabad, Oct 6 (ANI): Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have reportedly resolved to crush terrorism within the country, particularly in the tribal areas, and evolve a new security plan for political and religious leaders, at a meeting held at the President's House last evening.
The two top leaders said terrorists were on the run in Bajaur Agency and that they needed to be contained, reported the Dawn.
They also discussed other 'matters of national importance' like the expansion of the federal cabinet and inclusion of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the cabinet, said a statement by the President's House.
Besides, they discussed co-ordination between state institutions and underscored a balance of power between them. (ANI)
