Playmates Barbi twins accuse Obama of 'abandoning horses'

Washington, Sat, 03 Dec 2011 ANI

Washington, Dec 3 (ANI): Former Playboy playmates Shane and Sia Barbi have slammed US President Barack Obama saying he didn't keep his promise to end horse slaughter.

Congress recently lifted a ban that could result in a return to horse slaughter for meat after it had been outlawed for five years.

The two blasted a release to their email list, headlined, "Twin Bunnies Campaign Against 'Slaughter House Sue' over Pet Horse Meat."

"Congress approved the Conference Committee report on spending bill H2112 for Thanksgiving, giving funding to USDA for horse meat inspections and lifted the 6 year slaughter ban," Politico quoted their release as saying.

"More than 70 per cent of Americans don't want slaughter houses here. While Obama was pardoning a turkey, he abandoned our horses," they said.

The twins asked fans to get involved by signing a petition and calling the White House and 'Tell Obama to keep his promise to ban horse slaughter and pass H.R. 2966'.

They also trained their guns at Wyoming Rep Sue Wallis who they say is pro horse slaughter.

"Obama screwed up and caved n 2 Slaughterhouse SueWallis," they tweeted.

"Many excuse Obama sayn he didn't know what he sign! He caved n $ 2 #Slaughterhouse SueWallis the devil!" they said. (ANI)
