Pak's Hindu community condemns four doctors' murder in Sindh

Lahore , Thu, 10 Nov 2011 ANI

Lahore, Nov 10(ANI): Pakistan's Hindu community has strongly condemned the murder of four doctors on the eve of Eid at Shikarpur in Sindh province, and called on the country's government to arrest and punish the culprits.

All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement (APHRM) Chief Haroon Sarb Diyal said the act indicated that religious extremists wanted to disrupt the religious harmony between Hindus and Muslims.

The Hindu Panchayat urged the Pakistan Government to take concrete measures to end such violent incidents in the country, the Daily Times reports.

Fifteen unidentified persons had attacked four Hindu doctors, Dr Ajeet Kumar, Dr Ashok Kumar, Dr Nuresh Kumar and Dr Sati Pal on the eve of Eid.

Three of them had died on the spot, while one of them breathed last in hospital.

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has taken note of the issue and called for the report in this regard. (ANI)
