New Delhi, Nov 9 (ANI): Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday cancelled plans to address a rally ahead of the upcoming elections in Uttarakhand, as she was suffering from viral fever.
According to television reports, Gandhi's first rally after her return to India from surgery in the US, has been cancelled.
Sources, however, said her speech will be read out at the rally.
Gandhi's appearance in Uttarakhand was believed to be the Congress' attempt to counter the Anna Hazare effect in Uttarakhand, a state currently under BJP rule. (ANI)
