Potchefstroom, Nov 7(ANI): South Africa A coach Vincent Barnes reckons that the Michael Clarke-led Australian team is "undercooked" for the two-match Test series against South Africa.
"We ruffled them over a little, so that they leave here a bit undercooked," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Barnes, as saying.
"There's still a couple of them walking around thinking, 'Gee, I haven't really had good preparation in this game' - especially a guy like Ponting," he added.
He further said that the South African batting line-up was superior, and that Australia's biggest weakness is their bowling.
"I do believe our batters can handle their attack. We saw Mitchell Johnson and if he's not on song, others didn't seem to want to [lift their game] ... but [Peter] Siddle could rock up on the day and bowl unbelievably well," Barnes said.
"We should go one-nil up in Cape Town," he added. (ANI)
