Dehradun, Oct 28 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, on Friday said the overall Chinese attitude towards the Tibetan issue of independence is changing.
"Things are changing mainly in China. Lots of changes. Today's China, compare it twenty, thirty or forty years ago, much has already changes. So more and more Chinese who are interrogators, writers, artists, more and more are really showing their concern and support about the Tibetan issue. And in the Tibetan side, the Tibetan spirit is also very strong," said Lama, who was the chief guest at a function marking the 76th Founder's Day of the prestigious Doon School here.
An estimated 80,000 Tibetans, along with the Dalai Lama, arrived in India in 1959 after an unsuccessful uprising against Chinese rule.
