New York, Oct 23 (ANI): An American man was arrested after he took his two-year-old son on a drunken ride in a car with just three tyres.
According to the police, Christopher Weiss was driving a 2002 black Ford Focus westbound along route 25 in Huntington, in Suffolk County shortly after midnight on Friday.
A fellow motorist called 911 to report his erratic driving, and followed him while giving directions to the police, who stopped the reckless driver at Commack Road near Vanderbilt Parkway in Commack.
After the cops stopped him, they found his front tire had been blown out and shredded, and was driving on the steel rim.
His two-year-old son was in the back seat of the car, and the police immediately determined that Weiss had been drinking, the New York Daily News reported.
Weiss, 29, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child, a felony under Leandra's Law, and child endangerment. (ANI)
