Melbourne, Oct 14 (ANI): Former Oz champion fast bowler, Glenn McGrath is struggling to sell his Cronulla home which has been put up for sale in the real estate market for the past six months.
According to real estate sources, the high price quoted by the former Aussie cricketer is the reason behind the lack of interest in people in buying the five-bedroom waterfront house.
McGrath bought the house in 2006 for 5.25 million dollars, and had hoped to sell it for close to 6 million dollars as he and his wife Sara Leonardi and his children Holly and James are planning to relocate to the eastern suburbs.
"He won't buy until it sells." He bought (the house) when the market was booming but it's a much different climate now," the Daily Telegraph quoted a source as saying.
Shire agent Sean Egan, who is handling the sale revealed that he was not able to discuss the asking price with him and it is likely that sports legend will have to either pull it off from the market or be forced to lower his demand.
Greg Gilbert Real Estate sold a similar house in the area for 4.3 million dollars a few days back. (ANI)
