London, Oct.10 (ANI): After overwhelming Spanish tennis star Rafa Nadal to win the Japan Open, Murray has set his sights on soaring past Roger Federer.
The British No 1 made it 12 successive victories as he lifted his second title in a week following his triumph in Thailand.
And, after his 3-6 6-2 6-0 victory over Nadal, Murray insisted: "I need to keep up the wins and hopefully I'll overtake Roger and get to the No 3 ranking," The Sun reports.
Murray added: "I played some great tennis, especially in the third set. There were a lot of close games towards the end of the first set and beginning of the second. I managed to get the momentum and didn't give him many chances after that." (ANI)
