Gagan stays on top on LG Indian Amateur Tour Order of Merit

New Delhi, Oct 1 (IANS) Gagan Verma continued his run on top of the LG Indian Amateur Tour Order of Merit after a good showing at the Golden Greens where he finished tied for third place.

Making his move up the table with two back to back wins was Rashid Khan who climbed another seven rungs to find himself at eighth position.

Saurabh Bahuguna and Abhishek Jha maintained their standing at second and third place respectively while Vikram Rana followed them at fourth. Manav Das who had missed out on the Northern India Amateur came back with a top-10 finish at the Golden Greens and was placed fifth.

The next big assignment for these stars is the Eisenhower Trophy, the world amateur team championships, where they will represent India. Rashid will be off to Brazil to compete in the Faldo Series Grand Final.
