Jakarta, Sep 29(ANI): Eighteen people were reportedly killed when a small plane crashed near Indonesia's Sumatra island early Thursday morning.
According to reports, the CASA C-212 aircraft was flying from Medan city in North Sumatra to the nearby province of Aceh when it lost contact with air traffic control.
It was carrying 15 passengers and three crewmembers, channelnewsasia.com reports.
Search and rescue operations are being conducted by local administration. (ANI)
