Melbourne, Sept 22 (ANI): Seems like Mel Gibson's violent reputation is landing him in more trouble.
A man who filed a lawsuit against Gibson a few months ago over an investment is now claiming the actor-director tried to run over him near a bakery in Costa Rica.
Nader Sharif claims that Gibson conned him out of 200,000 dollars by getting him to invest in a recyclable rubber company and filed a lawsuit in June when he failed to get money out of Gibson.
In his second lawsuit, Sharif claims that he ran into the actor at a Costa Rican bakery and Gibson got violent, calling him "vile and offensive names", reports the Daily Telegraph.
Gibson allegedly threatened Sharif to leave town before storming out of the bakery and entering his car.
Sharif said he followed the star outside but Gibson "accelerated the car to a high rate of speed" and aimed the car at him while flashing the middle finger. (ANI)
