Islamabad, Thu, 22 Sep 2011 ANI

Islamabad, Sept 22(ANI): A Hindu woman has moved the Sindh High Court (SHC) seeking a police order to find her two daughters and two grandchildren who had been missing since September 2.

The Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued notices to the Advocate-General and the New Town police, demanding an explanation as to why an FIR was not registered in the case of four missing persons.

The court also directed the concerned police officer to reply to the notice within ten days, The News reports.

Bhoori, a petitioner, has urged that her daughters, Janta Kumari and Gita Kumari, along with her grandchildren, Bhavish and Sania, who had gone for shopping in the Bahadurabad area on September 2, disappeared.

She said though that she had reported the incident to the police, it refused to lodge an FIR, and that the family is receiving anonymous calls demanding ransom. (ANI)
