London, Sept 19 (ANI): Despite intense speculation that Simon Cowell has split with girlfriend Mezhgan Hussainy, PR guru Max Clifford has confirmed that the media mogul is still engaged to be married to the Afghani make-up artist.
He denied reports that the 'X Factor' judge is single again and has been spotted with a "mystery brunette".
Cowell had proposed to Hussainy 18 months ago and it was only when he told radio host Howard Stern that he was "not sure" if he was still with Hussainy and that he gets embarrassed talking about these things.
"I spoke to Simon this morning in LA and he said: 'Great story but there's no truth in it. As for this other girl I'm supposed to be seeing, I've no idea who she is. I've never even met her," the Daily Express quoted the publicist as saying. (ANI)
