Anti-terrorist squad, forensic experts rushed to Agra blast site

Agra, Sep 17(ANI): At least eight people were injured in an explosion at Agra's Jai Hospital today.

 

There are no reports of any casualty yet, NDTV reports.

 

According to initial reports, a crude bomb was kept under a seat in the reception area of the hospital.

 

Police had immediately cordoned off the area and begun rescue and salvage operations.

 

Officials from anti-terrorist squad and forensic experts have also been rushed to the blast site to gather possible leads into the incident.

 

The explosion comes days after a bomb, hidden in a briefcase, exploded outside the Delhi High Court, killing 15 people.

 

Agra is famous for the historic monument of love, the Taj Mahal, which attracts millions of tourists every year. (ANI)
