Kathmandu, Sep 30 (IANS) In a major diplomatic victory for the new Maoist government of Nepal, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will visit the country next month.
The UN chief is coming on Oct 30 on a two-day visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', who returned to Nepal Tuesday after a 10-day trip to New York to attend the 63rd General Assembly of the UN.
