LeT militant killed in J-K encounter

Srinagar, Sep 13 (ANI): A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant identified as Abdullah Uni was killed in an encounter with security forces in Sopore town of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla District on Tuesday.
According to reports, a joint team of police and Rashtriya Rifles perseonnel cordoned off the Baghat-e-Batpora locality in Sopore, around 55 kilometers from Srinagar, following information about the presence of Lashkar militants in the area.
Uni was killed following a gunbattle, which took place between the militants and the search party. (ANI)
