London, Sep.13 (ANI): Formula One 2009 champion Jenson Button believes he is winning the battle for hearts and minds at McLaren with team mate Lewis Hamilton.
Button made it three podiums in a row with second place to F1 championship leader Sebastian Vettel in Italy on Sunday.
The Frome flier, 31, said: "I'm driving better than ever and I'm really working well with the people within the team.
The Sun further quoted him, as saying: "I took my engineers and mechanics out for dinner on Saturday night. It is not for a competitive edge over Lewis' side of the garage, it was to pay them back for all their hard work."
Button, nine points ahead of Hamilton, added: "It's fun racing with Lewis as we push each other." (ANI)
