Tanushree Dutta bats for breast cancer awareness

With October round the corner, loads of people will be observing the Breast Cancer Awareness month, including Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta.

Tanushree, last seen in 'Saas, Bahu Aur Sensex', started showing solidarity for this cause ever since one of her friends was hit with the disease.

'I have seen a close friend who has survived this dreadful disease and since then I have been an avid supporter of this cause.

I just don't pick up one day in the whole month to promote awareness, but go all out and spread the word throughout the month,' said Tanushree.

During the month, the actress will sport a pink ribbon, which is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness.

'I wish every woman gets access to the right diagnosis and treatment and doesn't have to suffer,' she said.
