Ex-Three Lions skipper Ince says England lacks pride

London, Sep.8 (ANI): Former Three Lions skipper Pauk Ince has launched a stinging attack on the England team and their supporters following the limp 1-0 win over Wales.

Ince reckons the players no longer consider it a privilege to play for their country, and says fans are too quick to criticise.

The Sun quoted the ex-Manchester United midfielder, as saying: "We're giving out caps like confetti. Playing for England used to be the pinnacle of your career. Now, it's not that important as we have the Champions League and Premier League."

"If you get called up, you should make sure you're there," he added.

He also slated the crowd, saying: "I can't remember from my time fans singling out a certain England player to boo or have a go at. It kind of sickens me." (ANI)
