Keanu Reeves to make directorial debut in kung-fu film penned by him

Washington, Sept 3 (ANI): 'Matrix' star Keanu Reeves will reportedly make his directorial debut in a new film named 'Man of Tai Chi,' a Mandarin and English language kung-fu story, written by him.

 

According to thewrap.com Reeves is currently in talks with the China Film Group and Australian studio Village Roadshow Pictures about directing and starring in the movie, Contactmusic reported.

 

The movie will also star Tiger Chen who was a member of the kung-fu team who helped Reeves prepare for his role in 'The Matrix'.

 

The Canadian actor, who celebrated his 47th birthday on 2nd Sept, plays the villain in the movie that includes a series of intense fight scenes. (ANI)
