Washington, Sept 1 (ANI): Justin Timberlake set his New York restaurant on fire when he performed an impromptu gig in front of his devotees and celebrity fans Emma Roberts, Amanda Seyfried and newly married Kim Kardashian.
The 'SexyBack' hitmaker took to his Twitter page in the afternoon only to announce his plans to perform with his new hip-hop/rock group FreeSol at Southern Hospitality in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan, giving fans a few hours' notice.
A throng of people turned out to see the mini-gig, which obviously prompted the cops to step in to help control the overflowing devotees.
Timberlake mostly played the keyboard as the band performed a handful of new tracks, including their debut single 'Hoodies On, Hats Low', reports Contactmusic.
However, he stole the spotlight when he took the centre stage to rap on one of FreeSol's tunes, before singing an audio version of his hit single 'What Goes Around...Comes Around', besides playing the guitar.
At the end Timberlake even thanked the audience for coming in as a great supportive force saying, "So you got my tweet, huh?" (ANI)
