Bihar youth arrested in Uttar Pradesh with 25 pistols

Lucknow, Sep 27 (IANS) A youth from Bihar was arrested in Uttar Pradesh with as many as 25 pistols bearing 'Made in USA' embossments, the police said Saturday.
The youth was arrested from Chandauli district, some 270 km from here.
'Raju Mehar was arrested from the Mughalsarai railway station Friday night by the Railway Protection Force officials,' Chandauli Superintendent of Police Sanjay Srivastava told IANS.
'Although 'Made in USA' is embossed on the pistols, all of them are country-made,' Srivastava said.
'Mehar is now being jointly interrogated by the officials of Government Railway Police (GRP) and the district police,' he added.
