Chidambaram to visit Bangladesh

New Delhi, July 29(ANI): Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram will be leaving for Dhaka this evening on a one-day official visit of Bangladesh.

 

During the visit, Chidambaram will hold talks with his Bangladesh counterpart, Sahara Khatun.

 

He will also meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister Dr. Dipu Moni.

 

Security and border management-related issues between the two countries will be discussed during the visit.

 

It is also expected that the Indo-Bangladesh Border Management Plan will be finalized and signed during the visit.

 

The Border Security Force (BSF) Director General, Raman Srivastava, and other senior officers will accompany Chidambaram. (ANI)
