Islamabad, July 24 (ANI): A Pakistani Anti Terrorism Court has recorded the statement of an eyewitness in the assassination case of former Punjab Governor Salman Taseer.
The court recorded the statement of Inspector Muhammad Amir during an 'in camera' trial held at Adiala Jail and postponed the hearing until July 30.
The defense counsel revealed that the eyewitness Inspector Amir said he saw Malik Muhammad Mumtaz Qadri shooting at the former governor in Islamabad on January 4, The Daily Times reports.
The court has so far recorded the statements of 17 eyewitnesses in the case. (ANI)
