Washington, July 22 (ANI): 'Superman' fans are in for a disappointment as studio bosses have postponed the release date for the new film to 2013, to make way for 'The Hobbit', which is set to be released next year.
The highly anticipated 'Superman - Man of Steel' movie, starring Henry Cavill as the superhero, was initially slated for a December 2012 release.
But execs at Warner Bros. have decided to delay the movie's debut by six months, Contactmusic reported.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the first instalment of the 'Lord of the Rings' prequel will now be released in December (12), with 'Man of Steel' hitting theatres six months later in June, 2013. (ANI)
