Team Anna initiates referendum on Lokpal Bill

New Delhi, July 21 (ANI): Social activist Anna Hazare team today initiated a "referendum" on Lokpal Bill in Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency represented by Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal.

The referendum contains an objective questionnaire in which citizen can agree or disagree with the demands.

The volunteers of 'India Against Corruption' (IAC) visited ten localities in Chandni Chowk and distributed a two-page questionnaire having eight questions to voters in the constituency.

The questions in the survey include whether the prime minister, bureaucracy and the judiciary should be under the ambit of the proposed Lokpal.

Public opinion would also be sought regarding the setting up of Lokayuktas in states.

The Hazare team expects to cover the entire constituency by Sunday. (ANI)
