New York, July 15 (ANI): African immigrant hotel maids and their supporters plan to come knocking at Dominique Strauss Kahn's 50,000-dollar-a-month digs at 6 p.m. tonight-and they're not offering the kind of room service he may be used to.
According to the New York Post, the contingent, which includes advocates for battered women, for housekeepers and for African immigrants, announced their plans at a warm-up rally outside Manhattan Criminal Courts.
If that lunchtime rally is any indication, Dominique Strauss-Kahn can expect at least 100 protesters to hold up signs reading "Who Let The Dog Out" and chant "African Power!" and "No Justice, No Peace."
"How dare you! How dare you!" one rally leader, Danette Chavis of the Lower East Side, shouted-saying her remarks were aimed at Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance.
Multiple sources in the DA's office have said DSK's accuser-a Sofitel hotel maid who hails from Guinea-has been caught telling so many lies, including fabricating details about the attack's aftermath while under oath to grand jurors, that her credibility can never be salvaged. (ANI)
