2010-11 season was my worst year ever: Wenger

London, July 15 (ANI): Coach Arsene Wenger has admitted that the last season (2010-11) was the most difficult and worst of his career.
"The last part was the toughest season in my career. Emotionally, it was very difficult because we were on a low and then you could see the last three or four weeks were very difficult," The Sun quoted Wenger, as saying.
Arsenal won just three of their last 15 games following their shock loss to Birmingham in the Carling Cup final. They slumped to fourth in the Premier League and now face a Champions League play-off in August.
The Frenchman said: "I knew at some stage that it was lost and I had so much hope for the team because through November and December, you could feel that the team had really taken off and could win everything. And, it was so close."
Wenger is desperate to see his team bounce back and end a six-year trophy-less run in this coming season. (ANI)
