Wayne Rooney, wife to do cameo in 'The Only Way Is Essex'

London, July 11 (ANI): Manchester United star Wayne Rooney and his missus Coleen have reportedly been handed a cameo role on the ITV2 reality series 'The Only Way Is Essex'.

The move came after Coleen met Essex stars Sam and Billie Faiers at Chester Races over the weekend.

She told sisters Sam, 20, and Billie, 21, that Towie is a huge favourite in the Rooney household.

"The girls were really thrilled to meet Coleen," the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

"She told them that she and Wayne love nothing more than cuddling up and watching them on the TV.

"The girls loved the fact that Coleen was very down to earth. And as fellow fashionistas, they gossiped for ages about clothes.

"Now the producers have got wind of the Rooneys being super fans and they want to extend an invite to them to come on the show.

"It would be quite a coup to have them pop up," the source added. (ANI)
