Brit 'snake lover' killed by pet cobra

London , Thu, 30 Jun 2011 ANI

London, June 30 (ANI): A Brit snake lover, who ran a King Cobra sanctuary, has died after being bitten by one of his own venomous reptiles.

The 40-year-old man, believed to be Luke Yeomans, was a snake breeder and was due to open the sanctuary breeding colony to the public this weekend.

Nottinghamshire Police probing into the matter said that officers were called up to a property in Brookhill Leys Road, near Eastwood, where the man had suffered a possible heart attack.

Cops suggested that he had received a bite from a poisonous snake that led him to the on-spot demise, reports the Sun.

A spokeswoman said that the snake has been caught and there is no further danger to the public. (ANI)
